VoteVets PAC Endorses Northam for Lt. Governor in Virignia

 ·, Press Release

RICHMOND, VA – PAC, with over 360,000 supporters, is today announcing its endorsement of Ralph Northam for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia.

“Ralph Northam served this nation with honor and integrity, in the Army.  He could have gone on to live a private life, made money, and retired, and no one would have questioned it, but he didn’t – he chose to keep serving Virginia, both in the Senate of Virginia and as a volunteer for children.  His smarts, dedication, and character cannot be questioned,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran, and Chairman of  “He will be a Lieutenant Governor that the commonwealth can be proud of.”

After attending the Virginia Military Institute, Ralph Northam served in the U.S Army as a Doctor during Desert Storm treating wounded soldiers. He rose to the rank of Major. Northam is currently a practicing pediatric neurologist in Norfolk and since 2008 has served in the Virginia Senate. In addition, he is the volunteer medical director at the Edmarc Children's Hospice in Portsmouth.

Founded in 2006, the mission of Political Action Committee is to elect Veterans to public office, with a focus on Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, and hold public officials accountable for their words and actions that impact America's 21st century troops and veterans.
